I struggle to cope

I survive still not live

I am devastated but not ruined

Yet the life in my palms slips away slowly

And the raindrops keep on falling

But nothing reaches the deep

 

I falter on every step

I wake up to empty rooms

I see you everywhere

Yet the mirror in my palms slips away slowly

And the raindrops keep on falling

I search for you

I try to grab onto scraps

I feel alive with every breathe I take

Yet the sense in my palms slips away slowly

And the raindrops keep on falling

But nothing reaches the deep

 

I drive away everything

I smile and laugh

I let the world seep in

Yet the universe in my palms slips away slowly

And the raindrops keep on falling

But nothing reaches the deep

 

Reminiscence shelters every core

The heart stops but beats never slow down

Silence rules everything now

Yet the screams in my palms slips away

And the raindrops keep on falling

But nothing reaches the deep
